Shane Moore's Abyss Walker series has spawned two franchise writers; renown novelist and playwright, Roy C. Booth and up and coming novelist, Dave Barlow. The series has spawned five graphic novel spin offs with artists from Marvel and Gene Simmons’s “Dominatrix” writer, Sean Taylor. In August 2009, Shane released book five in his Abyss Walker series with the debut appearance of a character modeled after Peter Mayhew (“Chewbacca” from Star Wars.)
